C-47 Fly-In

The National Museum of the United States Air Force is a must-visit destination for aviation enthusiasts and history buffs. Located in Dayton, Ohio, it is home to one of the largest collections of military aircraft in the world. Recently, the museum hosted a special event that brought two C-47s to the air strip for a unique display.

As the planes flew in and landed on the air strip, visitors were treated to an up-close view of these iconic aircraft. The C-47, also known as the Skytrain, played a vital role in World War II as a transport plane for troops and supplies. It was also used for various missions, such as dropping paratroopers behind enemy lines.
